Affiliate Program Terms
Last updated: October 24, 2026
These Affiliate Program Terms ("Affiliate Terms") govern your participation in the ScoutEvo affiliate program (the "Program") operated by ScoutEvo LLC ("ScoutEvo," "we," "us," or "our"). By joining the Program, including by confirming by email that you agree, you ("you" or the "Affiliate") agree to these Affiliate Terms.
These Affiliate Terms are in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which also apply to you. If these Affiliate Terms conflict with the Terms of Service on a Program matter, these Affiliate Terms control.
Table of Contents
1. Eligibility
To join and remain in the Program, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age;
- Be a resident of the United States with a U.S. bank account that can receive ACH payments;
- Have a ScoutEvo account in good standing; and
- Be approved by ScoutEvo. Participation is by invitation or approval only, and we may decline or remove any Affiliate at our discretion.
If you are a current or prospective college athlete, you are responsible for following any name, image and likeness (NIL) rules of the NCAA, your conference, and your school. Check with your school's compliance office before promoting ScoutEvo for pay.
2. How Referrals Work
We give you a unique referral link. A "Referred User" is a person who creates a new ScoutEvo account (player or staff, including coaches, scouts, and advisors) through your link. Referrals are tracked by our affiliate tracking provider and by information stored with the Referred User's account.
- A person who already had a ScoutEvo account before clicking your link is not a Referred User.
- If more than one Affiliate refers the same person, the referral is credited according to our tracking records, generally to the most recent link the person used before signing up.
- Tracking can fail for reasons outside our control (for example, blocked cookies or a person signing up without using your link). Our tracking records are final for determining referrals and commissions.
3. Commissions
If a Referred User purchases a paid ScoutEvo Pro subscription within 12 months of creating their account, you earn a commission of 50% of each subscription payment we receive from that Referred User for the first 12 months after their first paid payment.
- Monthly plans: 50% of each monthly payment, for up to 12 monthly payments.
- Annual plans: 50% of the first annual payment, paid once.
- Commissions are calculated on the amount actually received, after discounts and excluding taxes.
- Commissions stop if the Referred User cancels or stops paying. If they later resubscribe, the original 12-month period still applies and does not restart.
No commission is earned on:
- Free accounts, free trials, or complimentary or discounted access we grant;
- Your own account, or accounts you create or control (self-referrals);
- Payments that are refunded or charged back. Commissions are held for a review period before they become payable, and we may deduct any commission later reversed by a refund or chargeback from future payouts; or
- Referrals obtained in violation of these Affiliate Terms, including through fraud, spam, or misleading claims.
4. Payouts and Taxes
- Schedule. We pay approved commissions quarterly, generally within 30 days after the end of each calendar quarter, by ACH transfer to your U.S. bank account.
- Tax form. You must provide a completed IRS Form W-9 and your payment details before your first payout. We may hold payouts until we have them.
- Taxes. You are responsible for all taxes on your commissions. We will issue an IRS Form 1099 when required by law.
- Accuracy. You are responsible for keeping your payment and contact details current. We are not responsible for payments sent to incorrect details you provided.
- Changes. We may change the payout method, provider, or schedule with notice to you.
5. Complimentary Pro Access
We may give you complimentary ScoutEvo Pro access on your own account while you participate in the Program. Complimentary access has no cash value, is not transferable, and may be changed or ended at any time, including when you leave or are removed from the Program. Because it is a benefit you receive from us, it is part of what you must disclose under Section 6.
6. Disclosing Your Commission
U.S. law, including the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides, requires you to tell people that you earn money or benefits from ScoutEvo when you recommend it. Every time you share your link or promote ScoutEvo, you must clearly and conspicuously disclose your relationship with us, in the same place as your recommendation.
- Good examples: "I earn a commission if you go Pro," "I'm a ScoutEvo affiliate," or "#ad" at the start of a social post.
- Not enough: a disclosure only in your profile bio, hidden among many hashtags, placed after a "see more" cut, or only in a linked page.
7. Promotion Rules
When promoting ScoutEvo, you agree that you will not:
- Send spam, including unsolicited bulk emails, texts, or direct messages, or post your link where it is not welcome;
- Make false or misleading claims, including promising roster spots, scouting attention, scholarships, college commitments, or any recruiting outcome;
- Misstate ScoutEvo's features, pricing, or policies;
- Bid on "ScoutEvo" or similar terms in paid search or social ads, or run paid ads that send traffic through your link, without our written approval;
- Create fake or duplicate accounts, refer yourself, or offer cash or other payments to people for signing up or subscribing;
- Direct paid advertising at, or offer money or rewards to, people under 18;
- Share anyone's personal information or ScoutEvo content without permission; or
- Break any law or the rules of any website, app, league, or team where you promote.
8. Use of the ScoutEvo Name and Brand
While you participate, we give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the ScoutEvo name, logo, and materials we provide, only to promote ScoutEvo under these Affiliate Terms. You may not change our logo, create domains, usernames, or social accounts that include "ScoutEvo," or suggest that you are a ScoutEvo employee or official spokesperson. This right ends when you leave or are removed from the Program.
9. Our Relationship
You are an independent contractor. Nothing in these Affiliate Terms creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship. You may not make commitments or statements on ScoutEvo's behalf. You are responsible for your own expenses.
10. Leaving or Removal from the Program
You may leave the Program at any time by emailing us. We may remove you at any time, with or without cause.
- If you leave or we remove you without cause, we will pay commissions already earned and approved through the date you leave, on the next scheduled payout.
- If we remove you for violating these Affiliate Terms or for fraud, you forfeit any unpaid commissions.
- Your referral link and complimentary Pro access end when you leave or are removed.
11. Changes to the Program
We may change these Affiliate Terms, commission rates, or the Program, or end the Program, by updating this page and notifying you by email. Changes apply from the date stated in the notice and do not reduce commissions you earned before that date. If you do not agree to a change, you may leave the Program; continuing to participate means you accept it.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
We do not guarantee any level of referrals, signups, or earnings. The Program and our tracking are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScoutEvo's total liability to you arising from the Program is limited to the commissions you earned and that remain unpaid. The disclaimers and limitations of liability in our Terms of Service also apply.
You agree to indemnify ScoutEvo against claims arising from your promotion of ScoutEvo in violation of these Affiliate Terms or the law.
13. General
These Affiliate Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, and disputes are handled as described in the Governing Law and Disputes section of our Terms of Service. If any part of these Affiliate Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. You may not transfer your participation in the Program to anyone else.
